The resin used in SLA 3D Printing should be fully researched and MSDS forms should be read before purchsing an SLA3D Printer. I've handled the products regularly and I'm comfortable saying it's easy to be safe. BUT that being said, I dont want to walk anyone down a garden path.
Plenty of reasons for kids and adults to build, what we've called a Sandbox, because there's lots of fun inside. The system can be configured for plug and play Xbox controllers(Rasbperry Pi4), and can hold every Atari, Nintendo, SNES, Sega, game you can think of, seriously! Go to the DLabs FAQ page if you're still unsure. If that isn't enough, it isn't just a gaming station, the CPU is useful for any electronics project you can think of. And, if you haven’t given in yet, look at it this way, you’re teaching your kids useful skills while building a cool new gadget capable of quite a lot, and it's fun!

Every 3D printer is different, and every configuration will be different. FDM printers provide a great all around printing solution, while SLA offers a vast array of beneficial features as well. Be sure to research what is best for your application before purchasing a printer.
• You are the only person in the universe that knows your machine, seriously.
• Prototype designs were created on a 4K Mono SLA printer with 405nm Resin.
• STL files should not require additional supports to be used other than those provided in the model, but each printer and process is different.
For Everyone and Many Pis
Originally the case was developed for the powerhouse Raspberry Pi 4, but the screen and case will accommodate other combinations.
A small Phillips screwdriver will be the only thing you need to assemble your components and all mounting screws are included in your Raspberry Pi CPU and Elecrow Screen kits, and whatever camera you purchase "should" include whatever hardware necessary.
With preloaded drivers on Raspberry Pi, ALL USB controllers should work right out of the box. Even those really cool retro controllers that can be difficult to sync, are typically straight forward to get set-up. PlayStation and Xbox are plug-and-play along with most others, others do require key binding.
Gather all the ROM game files you want from numerous websites paying attention to the overall size. For instance, a 32Gb Micro-SD card can hold every Atari, Nintendo, SNES, Genesis game available, as well as some PlayStation and Xbox games, while still having the ability to dual-boot into a full desktop PC environment.
Load PINNS and select as many operating systems you want, keeping in mind the size of the games you want to load.
1-Install RetroPi 2-Download games 3-Place files in the RetroPi directory 4-Play

Typically software and hardware need to work together. And that’s where they make their money the hardware… but typically I find prices for these kits to be reasonable for what you get. And if you really want to use your own components(as long as they're spec'd correctly) you should be fine. Also, it must be said, you probably want to remove the screen before any aggressive behavior.
