About Designer Laboratories

Welcome to Designer Laboratories.

Originally curated to provide an overview of DLabs capabilities and professional machine design resources, the site also provides a landing page for many fun projects and information. These projects were created from experiences designing the most precise machinery in the world as well as working with high volume production.

New technologies being presented will move us foreword but make no doubt about it, we need to scale forward if we are to save ourselves much more pain in reconciling the old and new worlds of engineering, new technologies and how we move forward as a cohesive system worthy of calling itself the best in the world.

Some projects were tests of technologies, others were projects too fun and cheap to not take on. All are proof of many truths of manufacturing and the difficulties marrying differing thought processes and desired systems of standards upon which we all depend.
